ABOUT
Tracy DogGirls Rescue Inc.
At Tracy DogGirls Rescue (TDGR), our mission is to rescue and secure lost dogs roaming the streets of Tracy. Every dog deserves a chance to find their way back home, and we are dedicated to providing a safe and secure place for these adventurous pups while we work tirelessly to reunite them with their owners.
When an owner cannot be located, TDGR steps in to offer foster homes, ensuring each dog is cared for until they find a permanent, loving family or are placed into our local animal shelter.
We collaborate closely with Tracy’s local animal shelter, fellow rescue organizations, and the Tracy community to safely secure stray dogs and maximize efforts to reunite them with their families.
With the rising number of abandoned dogs, TDGR emphasizes the importance of spaying and neutering pets. By addressing this critical issue, we aim to reduce the number of stray and unwanted animals, helping to end the ongoing pet overpopulation crisis in Tracy.
Together, we can create a better, safer future for Tracy’s dogs.

VISION & HISTORY.
Vision Statement
-
TDGR will be available to scan locally lost dogs and reunite with owners quickly rather than sitting in an animal shelter frightened and away from their owners.
-
TDGR will provide support by posting flyers, posting to social media/websites, investigating to find owners, loaning equipment and providing supplies to fosters to hold dogs for the stray hold.
-
TDGR will work with the community and provide education on being a responsible dog owner,spay/neuter, training, securing backyards, etc.
-
TDGR will work to provide community support for the local shelter in several areas: dog walking events, enrichment items, clean kennels, training and volunteer possibilities.
-
TDGR will assist with spay/neuter procedures to eliminate the unwanted litters and stop the breeding cycles to reduce the population of unwanted dogs in the city limits. The selection process will go through a vetting process and will be arranged with a low cost/free spay/neuter clinic to keep the costs low.
-
TDGR will continue to increase the ability to secure more lost dogs as most people cannot secure a dog. We will do this by either recruiting additional fosters or by building kennels in a secure area and caring for the stray hold period.
-
TDGR will complete home visits and meet the potential adopters and guide them through theprocess to adoption.
CHALLENGES.
PARTNERS.
We are thankful for our partnership with Tracy Animal Shelter. We not only have the opportunity to work together to enrich the lives of those dogs who have landed there but also have the opportunity to work together to ensure all dogs are fixed and vaccinated before they find there forever home.
